Preorder CONNECTED by Caroline C. Barney
In a time when we are becoming increasingly disconnected, lonely, and stuck, CONNECTED is an invitation to build a thriving life you love by becoming connected to what matters most. For so many of us, the chaos of life has left us feeling frozen, numb, and unable to move forward. We’ve lost track of who we are, what we’ve got to give, and the world of possibilities waiting for us. We have let life happen to us instead of connecting to all that life has for us. How can we stop standing still and bravely reach for more? How can we step into lives that make us feel whole?
With warmth, humor, and the kind of honesty that makes you feel less alone, Caroline takes us on a journey to connect deeply to:
-
Who we truly are — beneath the roles, the labels, and the expectations we've been carrying far too long
-
The beauty of life with others — building the kind of deep, life-giving community that sees us, cheers us on, and holds us up
-
Something bigger than ourselves — the faith, wonder, and love that anchors us when nothing else will
Through her own stories of struggle, loss, joy, love, and unexpected grace, Caroline shows us what it looks like to be a work in progress, and what becomes possible when we stop standing still and start reaching for the lives we long for.

Caroline C. Barney is a former Advertising Managing Director and EVP. She was named to Ad Age's 40 Under 40 and worked with organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to the White House. That career taught her a lot about strategy, narrative, and what makes people-and movements–move. But the most important things Caroline learned didn’t come from a boardroom. They came from the chaos of life, both the hard parts and the beautiful ones. The moments that cracked her open and forced her to figure out what she believed about herself, others, and what it means to live fully. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and two college-aged daughters.
